[ At her doorstep is a tiny package, all wrapped up in an austere but nevertheless festive red. Inside is a pair of vintage hairpins with carved floral designs and aluminum streamers, reminiscent of the kind of hair ornaments Japanese women tend to wear in traditional dress.

[On Christmas Eve, Rock Lee set up a mini-tree outside the door to the apartment and set a small present down there. It is wrapped in green wrapping paper that has been bedazzled, and it comes with a note addressed to her that energetically thanks her for the dancing training. [Naoki's a little tired-- he'll admit it. This was his first time being surrounded by so many people and their emotions for such a long stretch of time. Around the middle of the ball, he'd felt light-headed and dizzy from it, but it'd gotten better once he'd given Yurlungur some of his magatsuhi.
