[dogs are awesome like that, dogs with pipes and cool scars especially. repede whines happily at the scratching as yang managed to scratch just the right spot. being cuddly continues a moment longer, but not too long. giving a little love is okay; giving too much is not his style. as soon as it hits that too much mark, he'll make his way back over to zwei to hang out as dogs do.
flynn mulls over that statement. he stayed with them? well, seeing as yuri lived alone before rooming together and there haven't been any other super big fights that lead to them staying with someone (yet...) for awhile then that possibly means one thing. he could be wrong, but he'll still ask.]

[the lack of teasing is worrisome considering how hard she'd gotten him to blush last time. one of the reasons he had trouble placing the voice was because it sounded so much more lively before. flynn frowns lightly.]

It's been awhile since everything was "all right". [ That she'll admit. Yes, she knows she doesn't sound as chipper, as playful. Most days, she wonders if she'll ever sound like that again. But how does someone bounce back from everything when everything had all gone wrong at once? ]

[ "Bad" is perhaps an understatement, and maybe Ruby can tell him one day, but it's all something Yang both hates to dwell on and can't help but dwell on. It's a terrible place to be, honestly. ]
