[Naoki's gaze drifts off to the side. He does look droopy and he does feel sleepy, but... Isn't it a waste?] You're gonna have a harder time slipping out if I conk out on you, right?
[--it's safe. It's fine if he trusts her. Naoki never slept well when it was around his demons, startling awake at the smallest thing (they could turn, anyone could find him, it was never safe), and even here it's the case. He doesn't need to sleep that often anyway.
But...he tightens his hand just for an instant in turn before his fingers relax.
The weight of his head gets heavier, and his breaths soften. No snores yet. But it's clear he's let himself doze off.]
... Which is fine, of course, and Yang contents herself with remaining where she is, hand still grasping his. She's far from tired herself, but Naoki was probably emotionally exhausted at this point, and he'd come off as the sort that didn't really laze about all that often. Even in the gardens, he'd been awake.
But now, she can tell just by the increase of weight and how lax his hand is-- he's finally sleeping properly.
