You've had it rough. [ Both of her hands move, to cradle his face in her palms. ] Anyone who went through what you did would have a hard time trusting, and you're still doing your best, Naoki. That's not something to feel bad about.
[Naoki's eyes close gradually, his face tipping slightly into her palms. He's his own worst critic, when it comes down to things of the past.] Mm... [But he nods.]
I just remember when it used to be easy. [He cups his hand at the back of one of hers, turning his face to kiss her palm.] But, I won't rush it.
Mmm. [ It's agreement, probably, but he's effectively melted her, and Yang slides her palms up, fingers slipping into his hair as she closes her eyes to savor his sweetness.
She won't let him be alone, won't let him doubt. She's reaffirming it now, held securely against him. ]
[Naoki's glad for the reaffirmation, that firm reminder she's here with him. He's sure she'll stay with him.
And he's more grateful than anything for that, too, wants to express it in his kiss... He slides his fingers tenderly along the back of her neck, angling his head to slant his mouth more firmly against hers.]
[ She can feel that much, even if she doesn't have the ability he does, to pick up on emotions. He's still taking care with her, still keeping her close, and she tugs a little at the strands (I'm not going to break) as she tilts her head in response, sealing their mouths together.
He should be able to feel it, her fondness and determination, both growing by leaps and bounds every day. ]
[Naoki lets those emotions wash over him gladly-- at the party there'd been so many emotions that he hadn't wanted to pick up on but couldn't keep himself from. But Yang's are so familiar by now that they soothe him; he wants to feel those.
He pushes in closer, seeking to deepen the kiss as his hand curves against the back of her neck. His fingers press more, solid and gripping, squeezing lightly.]
[ He's welcome to them. Yang's always worn her emotions openly, spoken of them easily. Now, she doesn't need to speak, and as he moves in, she welcomes him with a warm murmur of his name as her lips part. The tug to his hair smooths out into gentler stroking, and one hand moves to his neck, hesitating before she brushes her fingers over his horn.
She remembers what he'd said once, about his body possibly frightening people. She thinks about it, his markings, the way his eyes glow, the horn she touches lightly now-- and accepts all of it. It's a part of Naoki now, nothing that governs him, just his. ]
[Naoki's eyes slit open, seeing nothing but a blur of colour, the faint outline of her eyelashes, feeling a tingling spreading from his neck. She's actually touching--
But, she would. She's always accepted everything about him. He can feel her fingers the same as he would if she were touching his skin, and she's doing it just as if it were.
Hm, with that and a smile pressed into her lips, his hand coaxes her closer with firm fingers, so he can taste her mouth, feel the flush contact of their bodies.]
[ Naoki, after this, she can't get any closer without straddling him, and that's admittedly hard to do in a dress like this. But she can lean, share the heat between flushed skin, bring her hand past the horn to curve around his neck.
... Right, she'd never gotten his shirt entirely off, had she? Oops. ]
[Naoki's focus slowly becomes limited, zeroing in on tasting her mouth, the warm contact of their bodies, her hand on his neck--
Another noise, soft and raw, and he pulls back from the kiss with a slow inhale. He probably looks dazed, eyes half-closed, lips slightly parted as he strokes his thumb down to her shoulder.]
[She looks beautiful, is how she looks, and Naoki swallows thickly on a breath in. He just looks back at her as she looks at him and it'd be awfully easy to scoop her into his lap and maybe...
But he forces his mind from that idea and gives her a shaky smile instead.]
[He's... pretty okay with it all the same. Even if his self-control ended up fraying a bit.
Thinking about how he'd like to just ask her to stay over, he just as quickly casts it out of his mind as he combs a hand through her hair. Her sister just got here, it's definitely not the time.]
[ Maybe the next time he asks, she'll say yes. But for now-- well, she also has Ruby in mind, and her little sister will probably need her as she settles in. So she leans in, just to kiss his cheek. ]
