[Naoki wanders over to give the demon, whose tail has stopped wagging, a few pats. Inugami makes a whining noise but indeed he will noodle his way off to do so.]
[He sets his hands at the bottom of his shirt, pulling it off over his head with an easy twist. Normally, it'd probably be a good show, with the flex of muscle underneath his tattoos but right now it's undermined by the POOF of dust originating from his shirt.
Naoki coughs, flapping his hand.] I think Inugami rubbed all his dust off on me when I found him.
A very dirty, loving dog. [At least the rest of him isn't so dusty now! He steps out of his jeans and stands there self-consciously in his boxers as he peers into the mirror to see if there's any more dust lodged in his hair.]
Well, he's definitely one of the few of my demons who's okay with being like an animal.
[ But she's moving up to him from behind, winding her arms around him and leaving a kiss on his back. A nearly-naked boyfriend shouldn't be neglected, she feels. ]
I think you could take some confidence lessons from him, actually... [ As her eyes meet his in the mirror, she smiles and tightens her arms around him. ]
That's not just confidence, that's crazy overconfidence. You shouldn't be trying to get me to follow his example. [His smile widens and his fingers reaffirm their grip on her arm before sliding, taking one of her hands into his own.
Maybe just a little? [ She's relaxed with him, not an ounce of resistance as he slips her glove off. She'll even be so thoughtful as to offer him the other one. ]
Hm-- [It's easy to get distracted, peeling off her gloves. It's nice, intimate and relaxing, and he catches her hand in one of his own to rub his thumb over her palm.]
Weeeell... [ drawling it out, as she moves her head again to speak against his back (markings and all) and her fingers curl towards his thumb ] Once your own confidence kicks in, you're fine.
