"Heeey, you've reached Yang! Well, actually, you didn't reach far enough, 'cause I'm not here right now! But don't yang up! Just leave a message on this baby, and I'll get back to you soon enough, okay?"
[ Wow. But Yang, you say that like you're not sure if he can do it. ]
Can I? Ha!
[ Because he sure as hell can. He makes a turn at the next corner to meet their thief at the other side, leaving Yang with the biker gang. Yata's not worried though. ]
[ Where is she? In case something's holding her up, Yata decides to go ahead and chase after the thief, his eyes now red like fire. In a panic, the thief looks behind him... ]
[ He darts toward the thief, hoping to catch him before he lands. There's a scream, a crash, a clang, and Yata gets there a second too late. The thief breaks a window with his fall and lands in a restaurant. ]
[ The thief only moans in pain on the ground... He didn't ask for any of this, so he'll just close his eyes. Yata uses this opportunity to take the purse back. His victory, however, is short-lived when the manager loses it. ]
Try not to steal from little old ladies next time, yeah?
[ The thief groans in response. He probably can't even hear Yata right now. The management is unsure about this compromise, though... Just then, an old lady walks into the restaurant complaining about how a man took her purse a while ago... It's Yata's time to shine. He shows her the purse with a bright smile. ]
[ The manager tells the old lady, "She's right, Mom." ]
Mom?
[ This is too much of a coincidence to be true. The old lady does calm down after that, apologizing as she reaches out to pat where she hit Yata, then patting Yang's shoulder. She's really sorry about that! The thief snatched her purse while she was singing her lungs out at a karaoke bar... He'll be working at this restaurant for a while.
"Now, you kids probably want a reward..." she says as she fishes for her wallet. ]
Oh, nah, i-it's fine! I don't need nothing. [ He jerks his head toward Yang. ] She did most of the work, anyway.
Nah, this was teamwork. [ And Yang shrugs it off easily, smiling. At least this didn't go as badly as it could have. ] We're here to help people, that's all.

[ Yep. But she's leaning down close to the motorcycle as she veers off after him. ]
Can you cut him off?
action

action
Because yeah, Yang's totally fine. Not in sight when Yata appears in front of the thief, though-- not yet, anyway. ]

action
He looked like a thief who needed to fly, anyway. ]
action
Damn.
... Hey, what about the purse?
action
Um, well, he'll have to land.
action
Oi...
[ Well, no one's perfect. ]
I'll catch him. What happened to your motorcycle?
action
[ ditched it? Yep. ]
action
Do you ever stop being badass?
[ No one man should have all that power... ]
Re: action
... I'll take that as a compliment. And sure, I have my moments.
[ miss Got-Punched-Through-The-School-Cafeteria-Roof-With-A-Watermelon-Hammer. ]
action
Let's talk about it later. We got a thief to catch.
[ With one foot on his borrowed skateboard, Yata gets ready to go. Though chasing the thief down with Yang was fun, he looks serious about this. ]
action
[ because she probably shouldn't activate her Semblance for something like this, and that sure is the thief pinwheeling down right about now. ]
action
Whoops.

Hey, jackass! Give it back!

action
Oh, don't worry-- this guy who just broke your window's willing to cover the property damage. We'll leave him to you.

[ She shrieks as she whacks him with the purse he returned. "So it was you! You dirty, good-for-nothing hooligan!" ]
No, I just—Ow! Ow! Ow, fuck— [ And she hits him again. No swearing! ]
