[He'll admit it, it's not like she doesn't know anyway!!]

He looks again at her sidelong. It's sorta like he wants to take as many glimpses of her in her dress with her hair all up like that and with that necklace as he can before the night's done.]

[ Then, with a trace of mischief in her tone:]

[That gives him just a li--iiiittle pause and he feels his mouth getting dry for a moment before he swallows.]

We're supposed to be encouraging my self-control here.

[masakados]

[TERRIBLE INFLUENCE but Naoki is quirking a smile at her, eyebrow lifting.]

Or maybe my speed while carrying you?

[masakados]

[And here he stops walking. Challenge...is being accepted?]

[ ... Oh. Well, she'll stop too, turning to face him expectantly. Gonna go for it, Naoki? ]

They're not too far from the apartment now anyway (so there probably won't be any people around for him to blush and avoid the gazes of). So, giving her a bright grin, he leans over slightly and moves to lift her easily up into his arms.

Hang on, Yang... though he's no crazily fast, the crazy is reserved for strength and other things.]

[ Worry not, she's looping an arm around his neck and... hanging on. Hopefully she's not heavy at all, but all dat muscle, man. ]

[Yes, well, to Naoki she's as light as anything--

So he pulls her in juuust a bit closer than he probably needs to hold her as he hurries along to his apartment, smile lingering.]

[ Like she minds. By the time they reach his apartment, she's already snuggling against his chest. ]

[This was a great idea after all--

He has to shift an arm slightly to dig out his key from his pocket, but he's still ducking his head to brush a kiss along her cheek as he opens up the door as best he can.]

You're a lot better than heels. [ Murmured softly, whimsically-- this is her new favorite method of transportation, she's decided. ]

Thanks. I don't think I'm as fashionable, though.

[He manages to get the door open, twists to nudge it open with his back and step inside. Well, since he's still got her in his arms, he'll even bring her right over to a chair (after kicking the door shut).]

[flaredo]

You definitely are right now.

[ Seriously, he's hot. ]

But we're gonna do something about that.

[masakados]

[Naoki's leaning down to set her on the couch, bracing himself with one arm just behind her once he does.]

[--he sounds a little expectant.]

[flaredo]

[ Yang's got to laugh, reaching for his tie to reel him in for a long, luxurious kiss-- before she leans back, bright-eyed. ]

[When she leans back, Naoki looks dazed--and his knee's propped against the couch next to her, leaning over her still.]

Hang on just a... there.

[He'll definitely fall if he doesn't sit so settles next to her, hand shifting about her waist.]
