[ Zwei is instantly barking with envy-- and Yang laughs, wrapping her arms around his neck. He's so blissfully warm... ]

Like I'd forget. [And he presses a firm kiss to her cheek before looking down at Zwei.]

Sorry, buddy. We'll make up to you later with cuddling and treats, okay?

[ A whiiiiiine-- but no, he'll behave. ]

I'll leave the treats to you, then.

[masakados]

Yep, leave it to me.

[With that, and gently waving Zwei to go back inside, he'll go about pulling the door shut with his foot, adjusting her in his arms.]

Have I mentioned that it's super nice to be like this when you're not giving me goosebumps?

[Naoki turns, to go about heading out of the apartment building... Oh yes, carrying her all the while.]

I really appreciate that all over again, too. [He plunks his head for a moment against her shoulder.]

[ Wow, she gets a free ride all the way to his place? Score. ]

You and I weren't meant to be freezing, I've decided. I'll let Weiss have the ice queen title.

[He wouldn't scoop her up and bring her along if he wasn't ready to commit to the full trip there!!]

More like there's only room for your charisma.

[She can only be charisma queen, not ice queen!!]

Mmhm. In fact, I think I can even see your ego getting bigger with it right this second.

[Dryly. Even if he thinks she's cute when she's being so totally modest.]

[With a lift of his eyebrow... he shifts his hold on her as they get into his apartment building and he flicks his key from his pocket to unlock the door.] Try to keep any exploding until later, we've got cuddling to catch up on.

[And he reddens a bit, like he just embarrassed himself or something. Nerd.] Right?

[ He's blushing-- Yang grins, delighted, and leans in to nuzzle his neck. ]

You're all mine, mister.

[masakados]

[Naoki makes a little noise that probably isn't wholly embarrassed, kissing her head as he brings her inside his apartment. He's not even going to the couch, they are going to cuddle in his bed!! It's going to be a serious cuddle session.]

...By the way, I've got something for you.

[flaredo]

[ Wow, Naoki, goin' for the bed. You sly dog. But Yang blinks, tipping her chin up a bit to peer at him. ]

... Huh? What's the occasion?

[masakados]

Well... [As he leans over to set her on his bed (all nicely made and fresh blankets and all thank goodness he's not a slob eh):] There was this holiday called Valentine's day that shoulda been a few days ago.

[And he steps out of the room for a moment, returning with a bouquet, sunflowers and daffodils and several sprigs of lavender.]

But I figured I don't need an occasion to get you flowers by now.

[flaredo]

[ ... Oh. It's fairly rare that Yang gets surprised, but it's clear from the look on her face that Naoki's succeeded admirably. ]

I'd heard people yelling about that, but...

Naoki, they're beautiful.

[masakados]

[Naoki goes a little red, but his grin nearly blocks that out as he moves to plop alongside her and offer her the flowers.]

Thanks. I've never bought anyone flowers before, so I just ended up going with my gut.

[And these ones are bright and reminded him of her so...]

Your gut did good.

[ Such bright colors and she's sniffing appreciatively at them. ]

[And he beams, as he moves to take one of the sunflowers... and there, tucked right into Yang's hair.

Cute.]

So, how do I look?

[ Head tilted expectantly! ]

[And then he'll move his hand to her cheek, leaning in to kiss her.]
