"Heeey, you've reached Yang! Well, actually, you didn't reach far enough, 'cause I'm not here right now! But don't yang up! Just leave a message on this baby, and I'll get back to you soon enough, okay?"
And you'll stay curious! Nothing happened. Just a buncha tourists in America...
[ Getting turnt—actually, no one knows. Maybe one day, when canon is kinder to us.
It gets seedier the more they travel within the district. Oddly enough, it feels like home. At first, he turned a blind eye to whatever injustice took place in these streets. Crime's been on the rise in his hometown after HOMRA's disbandment and he's been too caught up in his own misery to give a damn since.
[ Yang doesn't seem to be too concerned with their surroundings as she strolls, ignoring most reactions-- including some of the more lingering stares and low wolf-whistles coming from the occasional passerby. Besides, that could be meant for Yata. ]
[ Because he wants in on that, too. He's not so far behind as he runs—wait, duh, he's an idiot. Why would he run? The crowd's too much for him to fight against, so the best course of action is to take this guy's skateboard. Obviously! ]
Hey, thanks. I'll give it back later!
[ The guy yells expletives as Yata leaves him in the dust. ]
[ That decides her pretty damned fast. In a sequence that might involve hijacking keys with a flirtatious smile and grabbing the right motorcycle, Yang is mobile within minutes.
... And also with a gang of super pissed thugs on her tail, so as she catches up to Yata-- ]
[ He cannot believe what is happening right now. However, the bikers hot on their tail only make them seem more threatening to the thief when he looks back, which urges him to zip into a narrow alley. ]
[ Wow. But Yang, you say that like you're not sure if he can do it. ]
Can I? Ha!
[ Because he sure as hell can. He makes a turn at the next corner to meet their thief at the other side, leaving Yang with the biker gang. Yata's not worried though. ]
[ Where is she? In case something's holding her up, Yata decides to go ahead and chase after the thief, his eyes now red like fire. In a panic, the thief looks behind him... ]

But he's also been coming to his senses. ]
Anyway, this place feels more like Shizume to me.

Yeah. Looked just as messed up before Mikoto-san came into the picture.
[ And it looked just as messed up after he left.
Just then, someone dashes in between them, purse in hand, followed by a shriek up ahead. ]
action
[ Is she taking off after that person, yes she is. ]

Where did you-- should I even ask?
action 1/2
[ Don't ask. ]
This guy's fast, but I'm faster!
[ The robber disappears into an alley... ]
action
Cheater!
action
Yang perhaps now is not the time. ]
action
[ It really isn't the time to be having this conversation... ]
action
[ and she'll look around. Okay, maybe there's something... ]
action
... Should they really stop a crime by committing other crimes... ]
No problem!
[ While Yang is undecided, Yata uses his aura to give himself a speed boost. Red light trails behind his skateboard as he zooms down the streets. ]
action

Might want to kick it up a notch!

[ Yep. But she's leaning down close to the motorcycle as she veers off after him. ]
Can you cut him off?
action

action
Because yeah, Yang's totally fine. Not in sight when Yata appears in front of the thief, though-- not yet, anyway. ]
action
action
He looked like a thief who needed to fly, anyway. ]
action
Damn.
... Hey, what about the purse?
action
Um, well, he'll have to land.
action
Oi...
[ Well, no one's perfect. ]
I'll catch him. What happened to your motorcycle?
action
[ ditched it? Yep. ]
action
Do you ever stop being badass?
[ No one man should have all that power... ]
Re: action
... I'll take that as a compliment. And sure, I have my moments.
