But he steps to the side, waving for her to come inside his... really quite plain apartment. There isn't that much scattered about. There's a stack of books and magazines off to one side, and a little cloth bag where his items from home are, but otherwise not much in the way of decorating.]
I dunno, I coulda caught you in the middle of something. [Casually pretending he's not touched by her words... it doesn't work. Mainly 'cause he's started smiling.] But, guess my luck was better than that.
[So he jolts a little in surprise, at the name and the tap and his mouth twists before he gives in to the irrepressible urge to smile. What is this, it's silly. It's all kinda silly.]
[ She's aiming for silly; it hasn't been all that long since the weird dream/memory thing, and while she isn't going to ask him if he talked it over with whoever saw his own memory... well, there's a chance it might not have been a happy one.
So happy thoughts for now, and with this thought in mind, she plunks herself on the floor. ]
[He'll pick one off of a chair for her to sit down on before he himself plops down behind her. And he moves to fold his arms against and lean them casually against her back.]
[He laughs.] I was just glad. [For more than one reason. He can't really explain it, though, without explaining a lot of things that've happened. You trust me enough to just fall asleep when I'm right there.]
But, since I don't want you headbutting me, what should I talk about?

He presses his lips together.] ...You wanna laugh, don't you? [He's not pulling his fingers away, though...]

[He will get used to it. Yes. His fingers start to thread through some of her hair, absently gathering some of it. He's not braiding it yet.]

She tilts her head, though, ever so slightly and mindful of the fact that he's fussing with her hair now. ]
Only if you stop talking! If you put me to sleep again just by messing with my hair, I might have some words.
